The exhibition at the vai was the first one to offer insights into the development process of the traveling exhibition on the theme of Architecture from Vorarlberg, which has seen its inaugural opening in September 2014 at Werkraum Bregenzerwald before embarking on an extensive tour of exhibition venues all over the world.

While showcasing a broad series of interviews with figures who helped shaping the development of Vorarlberg´s building culture, the display included a prototype of the exhibition design and key aspects of the scenographic presentation.

The first edition of the accompanying publication series highlights the guiding principles of the curatorial research and selection process, the exhibitions design development process as well as selected interviews with Renate Breuß, Christian Schützinger, Verena Konrad and Robert Fabach.
